i tend to over cool my pics. With my night shots, most are under amber, and I really dont notice it till I look at my shots and then have to balance to the subject, or just white balance at the location under the ambers, which turns the whites, blue. But in my minds eye, i fix the subject to how i remember seeing it. typically, I crop, rotate(poor shooting grip), color balance and then contrast. then resize. if it's still flat, i might smart sharpen a hair and use the healing tool to fix bugs or weird dots. but that's about it.
